Their best win is Georgia Southern or South Dakota St.

That's how bad Illinois is.

You should go tell Wisconsin this.

As long as Minnesota pays him at least Mark Dantonio money I think he stays. The Big Ten West is the weaker division and Wisconsin is on the downside with the Gophers finally getting better and Nebraska improving.

Wisconsin is the least relevant and most house of cards program in college football whenever the talk is about national titles and playoffs.

All but Illinois played them to within a touchdown.

So you're saying they blew out the team that beat undefeated Wisconsin.

Fleck is very ambitious. He is looking for the next opening that will enhance his career. He will probably use this year's success to move up in the coaching world.

I've said before that I don't think he'll leave. He had other offers to leave WMU, and the Minnesota job opened up late, so I believe him when he says that was one of the jobs he was waiting on. He's driven by the opportunity to build something.

He also has an interesting family situation with his wife, ex-wife, and his kids. He's been pretty open about the Bucs job and the death of a child wrecking his first marriage. I think the family stuff keeps him in Minnesota, at least for a while.

That Wisky win gives him 2 more-ish years

Contact extension or not, he needed a big win, now the fan base is fricked with him for 2-3 at the least years more.

Will unbeaten, big ten champion Minnesota miss the playoffs?

An unbeaten Minnesota team would absolutely get in the playoffs.

They’d add ranked wins over Iowa and Wisconsin. Plus beat a likely undefeated OSU in Indianapolis. Any undefeated B1G champ is a lock. I think Minny beats Iowa and wins the West though. Don’t see them beating both Iowa and Wisconsin.

Big ten needs more quality teams. From his interview, looks like PJ is happy in Minnesota.
Hope Gophers can keep him.

The team is gaining confidence each week.
Next three weeks will be fun.

It’s crazy how close Minnesota is to the Big 10 Championship Game. All they need to do is beat hapless Northwestern and the winner of Wisconsin/Iowa.
