Probably the Horry three against the Pistons in game 5 of the 2005 finals.

That won the damn series. Still one of the most stressful I've ever watched.

Except for game 6 of the 2013 nba finals. That one tore me up because I thought that would be Duncan's last shot at a title.

Not many think of it but the Michigan Appy St blocked FG does Carr retire at end of year?

-or-

Gibson HR vs A's do the Dodgers lose the series? That 1 homer changed the whole feeling of the series.

This is a good way to consider this question. I really like this answer.

Man I immediately thought of this.
I'll add that I always hated Kirby after that. And Kent Hrbek is an a-hole.

Hornets/Pelicans fan: there was a 3-pointer that almost went down late in game 7 against the Spurs in 2007... Could have changed the game. I thought we matched up really well with that WCF Lakers team that year. (They struggled with the P&R.)

Saints fan: Pierre Thomas getting knocked out cold and fumbling inside the five yard line on the first drive of the damn playoff game against the 49ers. That play (among others) cost us a 2nd super bowl.

LSU football: It has been stated.

USA soccer: leaving Landon at home, THANKS JURGY YOU frick, which led to Wondo and the fricking shank against Belgium. Torsten Frings handball on the goal line is 1b.

If Favre keeps running for yardage and not throw across the middle, Brees goes on to be one of the best QBs in the leage to never make a Super Bowl.

If only the refs don't throw the flag against the Canes.

If Derrick Rose makes the 2nd FT as a Memphis Tiger, Self never gets a ring.

If Temeka Johnson doesn't lose the ball dribbling in traffic.

Lot of mine have already been said concerning the Saints/LSU, but one that immediately came to mind was the 2009 British Open. 59 y/o Tom Watson makes that putt on 18 to win a major.

Not that I care, but I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone say "Laettner clanks it off the back iron"
