Scott Norwood's field goal is good.

I truly believe this would have changed the Bills path. It truly doomed them for years to come

They should have won multiple superbowls in that time.

How about he does his job in quarters coverage on the seam route with no underneath or overhead threat in a redzone situation and simply arrives there a full second earlier for the easy pick like any decent safety woulda done?

That play still gives me nightmares, because as bad as Williams' defenses were, he called the absolute perfect coverage on that play, and Harper just hesitated. Belichik woulda looked just as dumb has Malcolm Butler hesitated like Harper did, and we woulda had an easy pick had Harper broke immediately like Butler did.

Scott Norwood makes the field goal and the Bills get a Super Bowl win!

Just feel really bad for them!

Another one: Refs don't call clipping penalty against Rocket Ismail in '91 Orange Bowl.

DJ and Mchale don't switch on the pick, DJ stays on magic and he doesn't get off a good shot. No Baby hook, another Celtics banner.

Ryan Hamby catches the ball in the endzone against Texas in 2005.

Maybe it's not that a crazy change in history, but it is a dropped pass that I will always remember.

Great call. That game was epic, I had big money on Ohio state that night and always thought back to that play. The way that game was going I think if hamby scores Ohio state hangs on for the win. If Ohio state wins it changes the trajectory of the 05 season and they or penn state might have played usc instead of Texas. Which leads me to....

If I could change one play in history it would be either lendale converting on 4th and 2 or vy getting stopped on 4th and 5.

There's about 7 plays from that game you could pick as a USC fan

I was actually going to say that but changing the outcome of that play is the only thing that would have ensured victory.

But just for fun.... Reggie's lateral, Leinart int in end zone, one of the idiot ting brothers intercepting a vy wobbler instead of batting it down.

Okie Lite kicker missing FG at end of regulation vs Iowa State on that fateful Thursday night in Ames back in 2011.

They would have played LSU in the national championship game on 1/9/12 and that LSU team would be talked about as one of the greatest college football teams of all time after they throttled OSU.

fricking Pokes.

Just to see how it all would have played out. We really had Alabama reeling until that moment.

Oklahoma st makes the field goal in 2011. Lsu goes on to destroy osu in the championship game. The ripple effect from that championship causes us to win another one in 2012

West Virginia converting one of two 4th downs to beat Pitt in 2007 would have also been awesome

That game really changed the landscape of the sport. Rich Rod would have stayed at WVU. Despite what people on here think, I believe Les then ends up in Ann Arbor. Not sure who they would have settled on if that didn't happen. Les surely would have been fired by LSU at some point without that BCS title. SMS asked what if Michigan blocked the Appy St kick, but I think Carr was gone, anyway, and didn't want to be coaching that season.

I was looking to see if anyone included this. I'm not a huge Watson fan but it would have made for an incredible story.

I truly believe that one play cost us not one, but two titles are you're alluding to.

Joe Montana throws ball behind John Taylor in the end zone with :39 left and it gets intercepted. Bengals win Super Bowl XXIII 16-13.

Ok State makes FG to beat Iowa St. LSU thumps OK St for a natty in 2011.
