Good thing N.O. only had 2 teams because they are both "Cellar Dwellers" at the moment.

Yeah you can count Milwaukee. Milwaukee has a great bar and restaurant scene in Water Street and the Shorewood Neighborhood and other neighborhoods along the Lake are as nice as any neighborhoods in the country. The baseball stadium has great parking lots and tailgating before baseball games. The Deer District near the new arena is starting to happen.

The Saints and Pelicans are so bad, our 2 teams may make us worse than a lot of the 3 team markets.

The Pelicans might as well be a minor league basketball team with as many 30+ point losses they are having, this season, and the Saints are off to their worst start since 1980.

Phoenix probably then Minnesota Detroit then DC.

A couple of underrated bad cities are Charlotte ( no MLB) , New Orleans ( no MLB), and if Cleveland is getting mentioned then Miami has too. The Heat have largely been irrelevant since Lebron left, the Marlins are almost a shoe in for worst team in MLB every year, and the Dolphins have done nothing the last 30 years.

People from the south would love Milwaukee. Blue collar, fun loving people. Downtown is walkable with great food and bars. I lived in the NW Chicago burbs and I very much preferred spending time in downtown Milwaukee than the chaos of downtown Chicago.

Not even close to the worst unless someone wants to say it simply based on hatred of the Cowboys.

Classy response.

The teams are constantly overrated and underperform when they pretty much buy every player they want...

If it’s going off where to live v franchise, you could do a lot worse than Milwaukee. I guess younger players might be looking for something else, but I assume a lot of veterans want to be able to buy a big house with access to good schools for their kids. A lot of midwestern, rust belt cities have nice, leafy suburbs with huge homes.

Are you talking about general fan support or success on the field?

If we are just talking success on the field it’s gotta be Minneapolis

I don't think Milwaukee counts because they've got the Packers to support. Same thing with San Diego and the Lakers.

If we are just talking 2025, Washington DC has to be the answer. Luckily the National put together that one epic team on 2019 to carry their sports fans.

Just off the top of my head, Nats had: Trey Turner, Juan Soto, prime Anthony Rendon, Strasburg, and Max Scherzer.

All of it. The worst city to live in and root for as a sports fan. I think support makes a big difference. Being a Packers fan when they suck might be a more fun event than being an Arizona Cardinals fan when they are good

Packers are a very unique case and Milwaukee would have them or another team if they weren’t publicly owned.
San Diego only has the Padres

Minnesota supports their teams though*, so it's not a "bad" sports town. I have to give that crown to Miami. They seem to have better things to do than show up.

*Not counting the recent situation with the Twins. I don't blame them for not supporting that terrible owner. He needs to sell the team.

Milwaukee kicks arse. Might have the best bar/tavern scene in the country. The raw number is incredible. Lower East Side, Bay View, Third Ward, and Water Street are great social scenes. I'd also start to put The Brewery District in that conversation, too. In all, Milwaukee has done an excellent job with its redevelopment - Really doing its best to bring in a younger population and, of course, proximity to Chicago + cost of living helps.
