Got good protection on the first

Per Shams
Sources: Protection on the first-round pick that the Wizards traded to Houston in Russell Westbrook/John Wall trade: 2023, Lottery; 2024, Top 12; 2025, Top 10; 2026, Top 8; then becomes two second-rounders.

Every positive opinion on Wall is from pre Achilles. Even then, Wall was not a top PG in the league.

I have faith Wall can still be a solid player at the least and his shooting form is still the same.

I don't think you understand how much of a drag Westbrook is on a team. A point guard that can't shoot that also turns the ball over a lot isn't going to be effective in the modern era. Great athleticism but terrible skillset for a team that needs to win the margins.

The Rockets had no choice. Westbrook's deal is only going to get worse as he declines even more.

I'd rather the Nets young guys than playoff P. Why trade 1 choker for another?

An actual trade that we agree that no one got the better end of the deal.

Bradley Beal said he’s looked incredible. So who knows.

Beal was trying to gas him up so that someone would trade for him

Westbrook terrorizing the East would have been lit a few years ago.

At this point, Wall coming off an Achilles tear may be a better player than Russ.

That crossed my mind, but Kevin Durant said the same thing. That Wall looked amazing.

.@wojespn takeaways on @SportsCenter:

-Houston believes they're getting a rejuvenated Wall who is shooting more 3s
-Wall wants to be in Houston with Harden
-Westbrook wants to be in Washington with Beal
-Westbrook's agent restarted trade talks today
-Houston wants to keep Harden

watched @JohnWall a bunch in Miami at @RemyTraining23 workouts and runs. He’s as fast and strong as he’s ever been. His conditioning is exemplary. Swole & shredded????Nobody could stick him. After talking to Wall I’m convinced he’ll have a boss year??

Has Russell officially become a journey man?

He will probably be traded again in a year or two.
