watched @JohnWall a bunch in Miami at @RemyTraining23 workouts and runs. He’s as fast and strong as he’s ever been. His conditioning is exemplary. Swole & shredded????Nobody could stick him. After talking to Wall I’m convinced he’ll have a boss year??

Doesn't Bradley Beal hate John Wall though? I thought there was a lot of friction between the 2 over the years. At least that seemed to be the case when they had that squad with Otto Porter they blew up because they could never get their shite together.

John Wall used to be one of my favorite players. But geez, I didn't realize he was coming off an achilles injury, I thought it was a regular ACL.

At this point, he is 30, hasn't played in almost 2 years. I don't see anyway this is a net positive trade for Houston outside of letting go of Westbrook shooting your team out of playoff games.

Weatbrook take a LOT of shots. With low efficiency. Damn near anyone taking those shots will make the offense better. Even when russ won MVP, okc was below league average offense. harden had 3 top 14 all time offenses before last year. They add russ, and the O fell to something like 40 all time last year.

Based on the rate we’ve seen other star players that wanted to be with harden suddenly demand to be away from harden, we can expect wall to be demanding a trade by the allstar break this year, right?

Chris Paul fell into depression when harden shipped him off. Went vegan and lost 20lbs

Dwight was not welcome back.

Russ, would rather have the ball in hands at the expense of wins. What else is new we said this 3-4 years ago.

And instantly became all-nba and allstar again after everyone thought he was finished after 2 years of neither with harden.

Hardens bff, knows he’s going to Houston to be Robin, etc.

But you were saying something entirely different when that trade happened last summer WBB. What was that again?

When everyone around you seems to be the a-hole, maybe it's time to look in the mirror.

The Rockets have still been winning games and no one denies they were a Chris Paul hamstring away from an NBA championship.

Cool, wasn't a commentary on winning. It was a commentary on Harden's personality. People get tired of him very quickly, and it's funny how it's always the other person's fault.

And if Iggy was healthy the entire series it wouldn't have been as close as it was.

Find me one quote that would serve as evidence that anyone has got tired of James Harden. Dwight Howard didn't get re-signed because he wasn't cutting it, not because of James Harden and his performance along with his team hopping afterwards is evidence of that. CP3 had no intention of leaving until Harden lobbied for Westbrook.

You can argue Harden is reactionary when it comes to his most talented teammates but there's no evidence to suggest that anyone has left the Rockets because of him. None. Its an MSB fairytale that's been cooked up in an echo chamber of intense burning Harden hate.

Right.

I usually refrain from engaging with Rockets/Harden talk on here and this is why. Every narrative that could possibly exist related to the Rockets get sucked into the blackhole of irrational hate. The entire gravity of the conversations moves to the worst possible take on the Rockets.

Harden is not a team cancer, he has never been a team cancer, and he never will be a team cancer. He's a top 10 NBA player at minimum and he's had as much team success as the best player on his team as anyone in the NBA outside of LeBron and Durant.

Dwight was a primadonna who refused to run the pick and roll and wanted to get the ball on post ups like Shaq. It was hurting the team and he refused to change. Harden was 100% in the right on that one.

Chris Paul is notoriously difficult to play with. I don’t know to what extent there was friction, if any, but Chris Paul did not look good at all the season before he was traded to OKC. He looked done, and nobody expected that he would do anything but continue to decline. He wasn’t traded because Harden drove him off or anything like that.

As for Westbrook, the reports are basically that he wants to be the man again. He wants to have the ball all the time and run the team. He didn’t like being second fiddle.

Chris Paul wasn’t traded bc he was an a-hole. He was traded bc he wasn’t good enough to be a #2 on a title team.

Winning cures all.

If Chris played like he played w okc the year before in HOU. Chris is still with HOU. Bc they would have won the title.

Chris had to get shipped out of town for him to do what needed to be done re: his diet and fitness.

Rockets fans say things like this, and then in the same breath tell you that their titles from the mid-90's are legitimate.

Not even the best team in the state of texas. There are 4-5 spurs teams that would have beat that rockets team handily.

I can’t think of any spurs team who would have beaten them if we being honest.
