Love that for Jrue.

Always liked him when he played for the Pels.

Glad he's not gonna be stuck in the hell hole that is Portland.

I guess I like it, even if it looks like the Celtics gave up too much. It will be interesting to see how Jrue meshes with Tatum and Brown.

Jrue Holliday has to have brought back more trade value then most NBA players in history compared to number of all-star/all-NBA appearances. I like the guy, but it is unreal. This is the third time a team has traded 2 1st round picks for him.

The Blazers did very well with what they ended up with for Lillard. As good as you could ask for as a fan.

I can't believe they got rid of Robert Williams. Sure he struggles staying healthy. But when he is, he's an absolute stud defensively.

However, I guess the Celtics couldn't resist grabbing the a much better Marcus Smart for their team..

They've got to add somebody else because Kornet and washed Horford offer nothing defensively.

They leveraged teams itching to win now to perfection.

I don't know if they want to be good next year. But they have a pretty good core group.

Henderson/Simons/Sharpe/Grant/Ayton

Bench: Brogdon, Thybulle, Murray and Williams

That team, if it tries, is a potential play in team.

Boston gave up way too much… Jrue is a good player, no doubt, but what does Boston have in their front court left now?

To me Jrue Holliday is a much better Marcus Smart that they've acquired. But you and other posters are right, they gave up too much to get him, I wouldn't have given up Robert Williams who is a really good defensive presence down low, shot blocker and rebounder that can also give you some offense with put backs and all. Brogdon and 2 firsts should have been enough.

He's always injured and, IIRC< took a huge step back last year (likely due to the accumulation of all the injuries)

yeah, he gets hurt, you right, but I still want him on my team because they're a different team when he's in the lineup. No one else on that team can do what he does, Porzingis certainly won't.
