sucks that he died but at least he took the chance. Better to die this way than to get kidnapped by cartels and held for ransom in Central or South America.

WTF are you talking about? He makes the trip so much longer going along the entire coast, and he is sure to run into rugged terrain where it would be almost impossible to dribble a ball.

Its also sad he only played for 5 years and then decided this was a good idea. I doubt he had great dribbling skill if I had to guess.

If you're traveling the coast, you aren't crossing any mountain ranges. Certainly not the Rocky mountains.

Maybe because he doesn't want to go through mountains?

Me and some friends picked up a hitchhiker who flew from France to Eastern Canada, walked to Washington, and was on his way to Argentina. He was having the time of his life and had some awesome stories.

maybe it's a classic soccer flop, and he'll come busting out of the coffin dribbling like nothing happened?

No clue. I was hoping he'd make a movie on it
That would be the adventure of a lifetime though. Too adventurous for me and 99.9% of this world.

That part of 101 is not safe to walk no. A lot of steep drop-offs and logging trucks going fast.
