the actual fans of the team are diehard basketball fans. So although there are only about 17 of us, I'd ay we have a smarter fan base for that reason. Whereas teams like the Lakers have so many fans, mostly being casual fans, that know jack shite about anything.

He is not bad poster. I used to enjoy reading his posts but then i decided to stop visiting over there much. I was also a fan of crews and look forward to his private board opening up. That’s the kinda discussion that I’m looking for.

have you ever seen NBA twitter, though?

90% of sports fans are idiots.

Every time I go to Pelicans Talk it’s a bunch of posters saying they’re done with the NBA

damn dude. you're right. that is true

I am surprised by pels loyalty tho. I think if they get a winner in there the city would rally behind them.

I was a Jr in HS when they moved here. Before that I was a Spurs fan - Admiral and Timmy D are my 2 favorite players of all time.

I enjoyed the Rockets run as a small lad in between the Bulls' dominance, but I really never became a fan. Still have my Rookie Tim D and Admiral Dream Team jersey somewhere.

Once we got the Hornets I was a loyal fan, but I will always have a soft spot for the Spurs

dude. you had an entire thread on pels talk yest saying they would rather keep jrue then get LeBron

A declining 35 year old who doesn’t defend, can’t shoot free throws and will have to play up a position going forward with a hefty contract and a lot bullshite that follows him.

Nah, I’m good.

I was a New Orleans Jazz fan and went to several games a year until they moved to fricking Utah. Rarely watch the NBA anymore and have never gone to a Hornets or Pels game.

Anyone that would take Lebron over Jrue at this point wouldn't be doing it for basketball reasons. Getting Lebron on his retirement tour would bring massive attention and money to the franchise.

But LBJ is simply at the end of his career. He's played a lot of minutes and is on the decline, I think that is pretty apparent.

I was a fan of Michael Jordan before the Pels. I don’t go to games much anymore now b/c I have kids and shite to do all the time, and I don’t live in New Orleans, but I still watch at least 60-70 games every year. I was an expert at justintv and other similar sites 15 years ago before it was easy to just go to Reddit. I’d say I’m a pretty loyal fan.

I am more than aware that me saying I don’t want Lebron even if we kept AD is dumb, and if the pels balked on accomplishing that I’d call them idiots, but that doesn’t change the fact that I don’t like Lebron and don’t want him as a Pel personally.

It’s because ever since they’ve been here, which isn’t a very long time, the front office has been an absolute disgrace. From the complete and total failure of the Chris Paul situation, where Paul actually did everything he could to work with the club, to the situation we have now. All you need to know about the Pels front office is the Solomon Hill contract, this is a microcosm of the front office operations ever since they arrived.

Remind me again how many pro teams are in Alabama? That's right none, because no professional athlete wants to live in that shite hole.

I hope you’re right but Gentry is still the coach for some reason.

I hate it too, but Gentry and Griffin go way back, and Griffin has to basically rebuild an entire shitshow organization from the ground up. I'm assuming they let Gentry coach out the last year of his contract and then pick a coach based on the moves they made with the AD trade etc.
