What team were you a fan of before the pels?

The lack of self awareness is utterly astounding.

Didn’t watch much basketball growing up, so no one.

It’s both hilarious and alarming.

What makes you think we aren't loyal?

We're a small fanbase that has been completely loyal even when the franchise doesn't deserve our loyalty.

Because we have had three star players. Two of them forced their way out to Los Angeles. The third tried to do the same thing and we said "frick that shite."

I mean if you’re still calling yourself a Pels fan at this point, then by definition you’re loyal

I'm in my mid 20's, so all I've ever known has been Hornets/Pelicans basketball.

I was an 8 year old casual observer of basketball beforehand.

Of any team at that time, I liked the Hornets because of their logo and colors, so I was pumped when I heard the news.

I am 30 years old. The Hornets/Pelicans came to New Orleans when I was 13 years old.

I didn't have a team before that

This has been a issue that was more prevalent in the past but getting better. Anyone who was a real fan wouldn’t have dropped their old team when the Pels moved here. They woulda kept their old team So most of their fans were new to basketball or real casual fans. And it showed up in their takes. You can def still see it some. But admittedly it is getting better.

We can’t all have your elite basketball IQ but maybe someone like TigerinATL can approach your level one day, if he works real hard.
