Saw them in the bottom 5 in some of these power rankings and it made me think. What happened to them? I know their Oline is trash but was it that much better last year?

Tua I feel has been at least as good as he was last year, when I think he went 6-3. The media was pretty quick to anoint Flores and Chris Grier, I can’t say I saw anyone in NFL media predicting this type of start. And they won their first game on the road in New England.

Do Flores or Grier find the hot seat this season?

The defense is not as good as last year, offense, running game, and QB are worse

hard to believe they were 10-6 last season.

They were #6 in points allowed last year and one of the best at taking the ball away.

Not the case this year on defense.

obvious the offense isn't that good but their D has fallen off

4 road games, took on the Buc's, the Bills, fly to London, that'll do it.

Flores needs fired and Saban hired to bring Tua back to his greatness.

Defense took a step back as turnovers can never be counted on like last year. Tough opening schedule and then their QB and top WRs get hurt.

They've got some delusional thinking at the top. Just saw this about trading for Deshaun Watson:
quote:

The holdup is Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wants the legal issues resolved before executing the trade. This could be done with Watson settling the civil lawsuits prior to the trading deadline. He also wants clarity from Commissioner Roger Goodell on a suspension under the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy.

Good luck with that.

They were getting fluky turnovers last year giving them short fields. Can’t make a living that way.
