A part of me hopes that no one pays him. These kids have such a stranglehold on this NIL stuff and this example has shown how out of hand some of these situations are. Yes Florida has some explaining to do but kids basing their decisions solely on NIL should have consequences. Not rooting for an 18 year olds downfall but he should be looked at as the sheep for how not to handle your recruitment.

NIL is part of the recruitment process at this point.
I hate it, but it is what it is. And given how out of whack the money promised him was compared to his supposed valuation, he would have been crazy not to go after it.
Same kind of shite SMU got busted for, in that the guys they paid tended to be ones they could have gotten anyway or guys who were desperate for the money rather than wanting to be there.
