My Grandfather and Great Uncle played for a couple of those teams. Back when he was alive he said Ferriday used to be called Little LSU, I think 3 starters from the Chinese bandits championship squad were from Ferriday.

De La Salle of sf bay east bay.
undefeated from 1992 to 2004.
151 games. scads of nfl guys.
had to get past Mater Dei of San Diego. Mater Dei is presently #1 in California.
st john bosco of San Jose is pretty stout too.
California has a north champ and south champ.
a spectacular championship in hoops featured undefeated north champ Drake of San anselmo class a vs Mater Dei the big boy.
Drake won.
anyway 1992 2004 De la salle could compete with anyone.

1981 John Ehret was pretty good. The game against West Jeff that year was an all time great winning 46-45, with Garry James rushing for 260 for West Jeff

90 Ruston and it’s not close . They dominated the top division like no one since or after . Raymond Malcom was ridiculously talented .

The evangel team circa 2000 was pretty freaking spectacular. I remember seeing them in the dome. They just looked like they were operating on an entire different level

90 Ruston is the answer. The best ever. There was one WM team that has an argument. Can’t remember which year.

I went to acadiana also. I remember watching carencro at acadiana his junior or senior year (whichever one was at ahs). It was the most dominating performance by an individual ive ever seen in my life.

If my memory serves me, Tuerlings Catholic went undefeated and un-scored-on during a regular season back in the early 80's. They lost to John Curtisbin the playoffs
You got it. I believe it was in 1982. They went undefeated and unscored on the entire regular season and one playoff game. They then lost to John Curtis like you said.

Small school / Kentwood 1998 . Beat 3A runners up Independence & Amite who both only lost to Evangel in the 3A playoffs.
Kentwood 1A playoffs
59-0 Country Day
55-14 B- Venice
42-0 St Edmunds
42-7 Grambling
48-0 St John
One off game Kentwood could have competed

Sugar,
I saw a Eugene Thompson died a few weeks back. Age 43. Was that Kentwoods top LB from that team? He was the best player on that team

Played against that team. JV was in by halftime. By 4th quarter most of the team was laying on their pads in the back of the end zone.

The fact that the Bastrop team with Mackey deangelo benton rueben Randle and Josh downs or the Destrehan team with Jordan Jefferson Jericho Nelson darrington sentimore demarius Johnson and Tim Moulton aren't on here is laughable. Those teams ran through everyone for multiple years and we're nationally ranked in the top 10 if I recall correctly
Unfortunately those two teams were at the same time but played in 4 and 5a so they never got to meet. I'd put them up against anyone. People forget how ridiculous Randall Mackey was in high school.
Hell Destrehan put up points with ease against an Acadian defense in the dome that was shutting out everyone.

Actually you are Right that Destrahan team was insane. Tim Milton and the short receiver who ended up play for the eagles was amazing. Also Jericho Nelson was a great running back.
The 94 (?) Cecilia team that beat Amite in the state was awesome as well. Jamaican Dartez. Ed Singleton The “Ambulance” Jack Williams
