Florida St gets left out, but Washington is a 2 seed? I bet that game would be decided by a touchdown or less one way or the other… If we’re going on 4 best teams it’s Mich, UGA, BAMA, UT. Pick a lane guys… Feel for FSU.

FSU has Travis at qb and they get in. It’s that simple.

far from it.

Anyone who was in Orlando (or NO last year) knows how shitty their fans are, and are enjoying the hell out of this.

FSU even with their backup. Lesson learned if you want to exclude a team simply injure their best player.

Not necessarily. Ohio state was in a similar situation in 2014. They lost their first and second QBs going into the Big Ten championship game and Cardale Jones got his first start. They beat Wisconsin 59-0 so they got in. Florida state looked like shite last night and have looked like shite since they lost their starting QB.

Realistically, those are the 4 best teams right now

Doesn’t matter who would win…. They’ve earned the right to play that game.

Ether question is who wins between Fl St and Michigan? With their defense and their 2nd string QB they would have a chance.

Florida State and Washington would be playing in New Orleans. Big advantage for Florida State. Washington hasn't seen a defense like Florida State's.

I was making the case for leaving out Washington earlier.

They beat #21 Oregon St

They beat Oregon twice.

Oregon's only top win was against #21 Oregon St.

So was beating Oregon really all it was billed up to be?

FSU should be in over Washington.

Washington would win this game if FSU doesn't have Travis.

UW has some offensive weapons, and Penix is elusive enough to keep plays alive. Oregon's defense is good (not far behind FSU), and he beat them twice.

How do you know this? It is the reason they said but the reason is arbitrary.

They do but they were shut down by Washington State and Oregon State in the last few weeks. Florida State would do the same before wearing down and Washington breaking through in the second half.

I disagree. They went to the swamp and beat the Gators. That’s not easy for a rival, just like it wasn’t easy for bama with Auburn. Then they beat Louisville a top 15 team. No, they weren’t awarded any style points, but they did what they had to do against a quality opponent in a championship game. They also won by more points than Washington and bama did combined.

They lost their QB, yes, but they did exactly what they had to do to deserve a spot in the playoff. You can’t demonstrate that the team is not good without Jordan Travis. They have showed more fortitude than any other team by stepping up the way they have.
