It seems that poor shooters have gotten better at taking fewer shots, but I was wondering if there were some famously poor shooters that went on to have long careers with their other contributions to the teams.

Are you talking perimeter players only? Tons of big guys who couldn’t shoot a lick that had good careers.

Shaq played 19 years in the NBA and scored 1 three-pointer on 22 attempts.

fricking dude couldn't hit the broadside of a barn but then would come up with some miraculous bank shot in crunch time when he only got the ball because it was loose.

And it was like a quadroople put back attempt.

What? Tayshaun was a good 3 point shooter lol. His career average is better than Luka.

Jimmy Butler hasn’t had a season better than 24.5% from 3 as a member of the Heat.

I was going to say Raja Bell but he had 10 seasons of at least 37% 3pt shooting and several over 40%

I had no idea. That’s a pretty neat statistic.

Allen Iverson and Jason Kidd were both pretty bad shooters that had good careers.
