Holmgren-
Green Bay never had a losing season in GB(75-37), went to 2 Super Bowls, 1 title
Seattle won 84 games in route to 4 consecutive division titles, half dozen playoff appearances, and a Super Bowl appearance

Hmmmmmm sounds like Gus. But we'll never see you say anything like this in regards to Mr. 8-5.

should be Payton but really is Andy Reid
I think I know what you're saying here, but I'm not quite sure.

Payton lost a year that derailed things for a few years and then the past 2 playoffs have ended in frickery when the Saints were really good
if those things don't happen, SP is clearly #2 behind BB

Just coming in to post that the refs fricked the fans out of seeing a superbowl between all time greats.
Nobody outside of L.A., heck, most of the L.A. market would have rather seen peyton vs belicheck and Brady vs brees instead of mccuck and goth.

Homerism aside Payton has to be up there. He took this team from post Katrina to Super Bowl. Then built a Super Bowl contender again after bountygate. I’m not saying he’s clear cut number 2, but he’s in the convo IMO.

Tom Coughlan
Built the jags to a respectable level then built the Giants into a decade long contender
George Siefert qualify?

Payton.
The Saints couldn’t win without him even with Brees and a very talented roster.
He’s winning without Brees right now though.
