I think Chuck is one if not the best answer to this. A lot of the other athletes mentioned played sports or positions where at least at the time some fatty bulk was considered an advantage or not a major disadvantage. Barkley played a constant motion sport where while size is good for a PF fat rolls are not. He was one of the best PFs ever to play the game and he did it undersized AND fat.
