Obvious candidate is the 56 game hit streak by Joe DiMaggio.

Bill Russell’s 11 NBA titles is also a steep hill to climb.

Jerry Rice's records for receiving yards, receptions, and receiving touchdowns.

I don't think anyone will ever even get close to breaking his records

Don Hutson leading the NFL in receiving 8x, Jerry Rice couldn’t even reach 8x over his 20 seasons if he couldn’t do it, don’t think anyone else will be able to. Don Hutson’s one of the most dominant players in the history of the game.

Given the rules these days I’d think these could be vulnerable if you get a WR who plays as long as he did and spent that entire time with good to elite QBs.

Tough to get that combo but I wouldn’t put it as untouchable

Federer’s men’s Grand Slams. Still think he has a couple left in him too.

Tiger Woods' consecutive cut streak of making 142 consecutive cuts. Since 1980, the player with the second longest consecutive cut streak is Steve Stricker with 49. Currently, the player with the longest active streak of consecutive cuts made is Matt Kuchar with 29. That record will never ever be broken.

Upon further review it looks like Fitzgerald has a very good chance to break the receptions record if he sticks around 4 or 5 more years

Cy Young's 511 wins. Only one player in history even has 400 and the closest anyone who has started their career in the last 100 years is Spahn at 365. And the way we use pitchers now makes 300 wins unlikely, but 500 a virtual impossible feat.
