Federer’s men’s Grand Slams. Still think he has a couple left in him too.
Huh?? Nadal will probably get 17 at this year's french open and he can keep winning Frensh Open's for a few more years at least.

Wilt’s record is dumb. If the warriors wanted to feed Durant or Curry every ball all game long, it would t take many games to demolish 100. The Spurs wanted to win David Robinson a scoring title on the last day of the season so they fed him and he scored 74. He’s a dam center. Imagine if Durant just slung it up from 3 every trip down on a day when he’s on?

I looked and didn't see it
Michael Phelps overall medal count and
Total gold medals won't be touched Hard to see anyone competing at that high a level in that many consecutive olympics again.

All the records in this thread will.be broken.
Never is forever.
And?
Since Ripken set the record, the longest streak was some 1500 games fewer than his. The current active streak is Alcides Escobar at ~370.
It is highly unlikely that anyone will ever hit that number.
To beat Ripken's record, someone will have to play everyday for 16+ seasons.
To beat Rose's hit record, someone will have to average 200 hits a season for 21+ seasons.
Then there's the question of whether some of these sports will even exist in 50 years.

Tiger Woods' record of 141 consecutive tournaments with at least one F bomb, not to mention his record of 39 clubs tossed into the water hazard.

don't believe he ever has tossed a club in the water. McIlroy, on the other hand, has more than once

I don't think there's an actual official record for this but it's really cool nonetheless. Mario Lemieux scored 5 goals in one game 5 different ways: even strength, shorthanded, power play, penalty shot and empty net.

You may be correct - he apparently just tosses them into crowds of spectators.

It's really amusing how people that hate Tiger pretend like he's the only golfer on tour that gets upset after a bad shot. If you did any research or paid attention whatsoever, you would know that cussing and slamming your club on the ground happens all the time on tour.

I think Dimaggio's record gets broken at some point. The others seems pretty safe with how the game has evolved.

I honestly don't. The closest any one has gotten in the last 40 years was Pete Rose in 1978 with a 44 game streak. The longest streak this century was Jimmy Rollins at 38 games. No one has even gotten to 40 games since Pete Rose's streak in 1978. Unless the game completely changes away from home runs being a premium, then I can't see that record ever being touched.

Duffys.449 was first season.
Guys threw 20 more games than now.
3man rotations and no relief.
I don't see any of these being even nearly unattainable except the 59 wins in the 1880s. 1900s was 37 1908.
60 wins could happen. With a lucky reliever.

no. A reliever winning 60 games would be as improbable as any record on here

The record for most appearances is 106. Mike Marshal finished 83 of those 106 and had a record of 15-12.
I don't think a reliever will touch 60 wins. The single season record for wins by a reliever is only 18.

Messi scored 91 goals in a calendar year for club & country back in 2012. Ronaldo's record of 6 straight season's of 50 or more goals for a club will probably never be broken.

Unless the game changes drastically nobody is gonna touch Ricky’s record of 1406 steals.. IMO that is as safe as Cy Young’s wins record.....

Nobody will ever reach 5714 strikeouts in this day and age... he’ll you don’t even have pitchers with ten or more complete games anymore... just not enough innings.... along with 7 no hitters.....

Pitchers 1 through 50 on the complete games list
