Maybe UGA can linger around if Kirby doesn’t decide to retire as well

Notre Dame has not recruited as well as they have for last year, this year, and next year in my lifetime. Coach+money=success.

Was going to say Notre Dame too. Another issue is they have 4 5 stars 2 that are OL and another 2 that are DL.
When Notre Dame is taking 5 star lineman out of Louisiana it's going to be a problem.

NIL will be reigned in when the private schools start slinging out cash that the publics can't afford. We're already starting to see the improvements of Vanderbilt, Duke, and Notre Dame - as soon as they start dominating in a few years the schools that dominated the last 25 years will start crying foul to whoever will listen in order to reign in their power.

No Chance. Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is in a far better position.

I mean it's essentially the same schools that have always been good/had money

I'll throw out SMU as a dark horse
ACC is a 2-horse show, and neither horse is that dominant
And SMU has some surprisingly deep pockets
I feel like SMU just needs that one marker, like an ACC title, and they woll be off to the races

It’s Texas tech. Their boosters flat out said they don’t think the current system is good for the game but if they can write checks to make their team better they will keep writing them.

if the Ivy League decided to take over college football again like they did once before. For real…these Ivy League schools endowments are simply massive!!!
Also Stanford. If they ever go all in, they can do big things

And while you’re right usc has the resources, unlike Texas and Ohio state, they don’t seem to have the institutional or fan base/booster interest in being elite in athletics.
Chad Bowden went there recruited the support, went out and signed the most expensive high school class in history last year. This year a smaller class but of the 15-20 they really locked in in, they landed at about a 85% clip. And they lock the kids down with no visits. The coaching let's them down and the young talent. But they're building it with money. They paid a TE 2 million out of high school. Remember Pete Carroll? Thats the level they recruit at currently with their top targets.

Not sure why so many say texsa. They have always had top classes and always underperform. They do less with more than anyone.

It does sound ridiculous, but if not the cult then what has held Aggy back?
