It will be tough because the big powerhouse programs of the Big 10 and SEac that have money all have the hardest schedules.
If you look back at the dynasties it is about schedules, and having a level above everyone else’s players, and media influence in polling.
You can’t create the scenario that Carroll and Saban had previously. They had advantages which have now been neutralized by the current format of professional college football.

Because all the good fcs players transfer to P4 schools
The portal and NIL made the G5 worse but the mid tier of the p4 way better
