just so im following, we think ESPN is being woke because they are assuming gender?

Just so you’re following, when you’re on the same side of an issue as the other moron in this thread that is only capable of posting about race, gender, or tv ratings, you are part of the problem.

We did this thread yesterday. Apparently having an issue with that makes you a snowflake crybaby, so just move along

You sir are the snowflake. The original poster was just pointing out the obvious. The alphabet group is just stupid…so few people in it but it has to affect us all.

I was just agreeing with the original poster. Are you sure you’re reading me correctly?

obvious that ESPN is doing this for branding purposes.

Should check your obvious meter. Cause it’s wrong here.

No one is “literally” crying an “M”. They are just pointing out it is unnecessary virtue signaling.

I agree that it’s virtue signaling by ESPN. Ole Miss seems to be countering their virtue signaling by continuing to wear their jerseys with “Rebels” in large letters across the front.

Which one should we die on before you pieces of shite normalize something like nasty drag queens reading to our children?

Calling it the Mens College World Series is actually incorrect. Women are allowed to play baseball, just as they are allowed to play football in college.

Why would I do that when that means you wouldn’t be able to post more played out message board tropes?

Seems kind of sexist to assume their genders.

ESPN has labeled it MBB for basketball on its website for years, no complaints. I think college softball has gotten more popular as of late.

The WCWS destroyed the MCWS in ratings last year. Now, the WCWS had most of its games on the main ESPN while the MCWS had about half.

It’s still notable how big the gap was though. Softball is definitely booming in popularity.

It's incredible how resistant some people are to even very minor changes that don't even affect them.

I think it's some instinctual hostile reaction. I think Rain Man was the same way.

I honestly have probably watched more softball than baseball over the years

The faster pace is nice
