Bonds not being in the Hall of Fame is the dumbest fricking thing I've ever seen in my entire sports watching history.

Dude was a good player before 1998, and had he continued at the pace he did he would have had a hall of fame resume.

But the numbers after that were the best in the history of baseball at least as a hitter. So many numbers are amazing after he got on the juice.

Barry Bonds 1986-1997:

374 HR, .959 OPS, 91.8 bWAR, 3 MVPs, 7 Gold Gloves

He was already a first ballot HOF player at that point.

As I said, he had a hall of fame resume.

I yelled at Barry before the steroid issues were common knowledge. I was a Ranger fan and more of a Griffy guy.

I yelled something stupid like, "Look out Bonds, it's coming your way!", at the beginning of the bottom of the 1st inning of MLB's 1st regular season Interleague game in 1997. Sat with a friend's dad in his seats three rows from the field in center/left field. They were just to the left of the yellow sign next to the out-of-town scoreboard.

The fact that I was there for 752 and 753 sitting behind the dugout in Wrigley Field

Filmed both on my long lost flip phone man I wish I still had those videos

He came up to bat I told my dad he’s about to jack one, everyone stood up, low and behold he smoked that sucker

I was down there by that batter on deck

That he was a great hitter and should be in HOF.

If you took steroids for 10 years straight, you would be closer to Bonds than you are now.

Many did and still made it no where close to Bonds.

That is why his steroid usage is so exceptional, only surpassed by a couple of East German chicks in the 70's.
