LSU @ Arky in 2012 was very cold. It got worse once the 4th quarter rolled around. I want to say it was about 25 degrees by the time it ended.

The gmac bowl where Marshall rallied from like 30 points down to beat East Carolina.

64-61 I think it was.

Anyway it was only like 30 something degrees but the wind was whipping so that made it worse than it really was

There wasn't very many people left at Ladd stadium by the time the game got over even though it was such a classic comeback

Giants game Candlestick Park late Summer.

That fricking place had its own weather.

The air whipping off the freezing Bay and had a direct beeline into the Stadium.

There's no cold like wind chill when it's gusting off the freezing Bay..colder than snow games on the East Coast. Especially if its nice weather outside the stadium and you're not dressed properly for the meat locker that was Candlestick Park. People huddled in blankets in the stadium during summer.

Snow football games look cold on TV but can be a lot milder if they're not near the water.

Just looked it up. Why the hell would you schedule a soccer match at the outdoor soccer stadium in St. Paul in February? Couldn't they play it at U.S. Bank Stadium with a roof if you absolutely have to play the game in Minnesota in winter? Seems odd.

Homefield advantage. Those Hondurans don't like the cold. Canada just recently beat Mexico in a world cup qualifier too, they drug them up to Edmonton for a night game in -10 weather. It was glorious

Montana state championship game in 2011, my senior year of high school.

Was about 10 degrees, mildly windy and snowing constantly. There was 2-3 inches of snow on anything not moving by the end of the game.

Me and hundreds of other students walked directly over to the stadium after class that day so none of us were dressed to stand in the bleachers for 3 hours in that my dumb arse was wearing Vans or something so my feet were borderline frostbitten by the end

No one really cared, we got to watch Bozeman win our first state championship in 95 years so it was worth anything, really

Ala/Aub game in Tusc where it was sleeting was really cold in early 2000's, I think Aub won 9-0. I gave my tix away and watched in a bar, good call.

Same day as State vs Arkansas in Starkville. I only had on jeans and a white long sleeve tshirt. It snowed, sleeted, and rained at some point. Temps were anywhere from 32-36. I ate nachos with extra jalapeños and no drink at halftime just to warm up. State was pretty good like 7-2 and had a chance to win the West. Arkansas was 4-5. State got up 10-0 and then dicked around. It was 10-10 when State attempted a FG on the last play to win. Our kicker Scott Westerfield was pretty good, and it was very make able like 43 yards or something. I turned away not to watch and heard one thud then another. Yes, it was blocked so the game went to OT. Arkansas won 17-10, and I didn't care. I just wanted to get to the nearest heater. My legs were so numb I could hardly walked. Side note: State honored alum and US Rep Sonny Montgomery that day. His buddy, George H.W. Bush was with him. As I was eating my nachos they came within 20 yards of me. Closest I've ever been to a U.S. President. Side note 2: I was at the "Snow Bowl" in Shreveport later that year also.

The shittiest weather you can see a game in is freezing rain. At least with cold you can wear hundreds of layors. I went to a Bears game once where it was like 35 and raining all game. Absolutely miserable as once you’re wet your fricked.

With insane cold the biggest problem is once you lose your toes it starts getting miserable.

Probably Pitt at WVU on thanksgiving day back in 2005

My roommates and a bunch of my friends decided to all drive back to Morgantown that morning at do thanksgiving together before the night game. It snowed the entire 3 hour drive from NOVA

Got into town and there was almost a foot of snow. Then the deep freeze kicked in. At kick off the actual temperature was in the teens with a single digit wind chill.

We brought a bunch of captain bottles into the game bc they didn’t even bother padding people down. Passed them around to keep warm

LSU vs Bama 2002 in BR. I don't know what the temp was, but it undoubtedly felt worse than it was due to the game.

Coldest game was 0 air temperature. The main thing is try to keep your feet warm.

If you can borrow a pair of insulated pac boots you'd be toasty warm.

Probably like 40 and windy. If that cold. We didn’t get that cold in Auburn.

Maybe not coldest temperature wise but went to the Liberty Bowl 20 or so years ago and it was right at or below freezing and sleeting. The way that stadium is designed also provides for a lot of wind to swirl through the stadium.

Also the LSU/Ole Miss game in Oxford in 2000. Was about 37 degrees and raining. Not terribly cold but downright miserable

San Diego vs Cincy, playoffs 1982. The coldest game in NFL history with wind chill.

Coffee would freeze by the time you got back to your seat.

Football is an outdoor sport.

These are games I personally in

Coldest game temp wise was a playoff game KC vs Pittsburgh it was 10 degrees and horrible wind chill

Played UNI in a game it was 35 and raining. Warner and Shedd played in that game. It was miserable

Coldest game it felt to my body was a lake effect snow game we played in Youngstown.

You later clothes always wear Long sleeve as 2nd layer

What I did on sidelines was
T shirt
Mock turtleneck
Tshirt
Outer wear
Always wore running tights usually were cobblestone

Vaseline on face if really windy. All Lineman were not allowed sleeves so we’d put Vaseline Skin Lube mix on their arms to help keep them warm. We used Neoprene Elbow sleeves turned inside out as sleeves for our RB and WR. Of course we had some idiots who wanted to wear shirts thinking they knew better. We had scuba gloves for some guys also

Coldest game temp only was Dallas @ Green Bay in 1966 or 1967, it was -13 temp and -48 wind chill.

Next was the game I mentioned San Diego @ Cincy in 1982. Temp was -9 degrees and wind chill of -59.
