What's the coldest game you've ever been to?

And how the hell did you make it through it?

The wind chill is -11 right now in Buffalo and tonight it'll be around -4. I can't even imagine how cold the nose bleeds will be. What do you wear? I figure one of those setups with a heater built in?

I've lived in Florida for the last 25 years so I don't know cold. Well, that kind of cold.

I had a coworker from Buffalo swear to me he’d rather a 20 degree Buffalo day than a 50 degree Louisiana day he hated how the moisture in the air makes it a “wet cold”

That LSU-Troy game in 2008 was probably only in the 30s by the end of the game but felt cold as shite in the stadium. Paging tigerdroppings field reporter tBoat

Ravens at Steelers AFC Champ game. 2008/9 ish. 15 and windy. Had to borrow clothes from local family. Too cold to drink beer. Crowd was loud for first 10 minutes of game then silent until last couple of drives.

Not sure how the players did it. Even the regular hits must have felt like getting hit by a truck.

2014 winter classic. Toronto vs Detroit on New Year’s Day. They had to heat the water up at the concession stands because it was freezing. Has to drink it fast once you got back to your seats. It was single digits and pounding snow. It was epic.

Ark v LSU 2007

I know it wasn’t terribly cold but I left that game miserable bc of the loss, frost bite, and a sunburn!

Plus I live in the south.

1st SEC title game in Bham was pretty cold but probably more wet than cold but you could damn sure feel it.

Ala/Aub game in Tusc where it was sleeting was really cold in early 2000's, I think Aub won 9-0. I gave my tix away and watched in a bar, good call.

1988 Bucs at Pats, it was negative something out that day with the wind and I was a drunk college kid that definitely didn't dress for the weather, and of course that game went into overtime. It was AWFUL. As I recall it was the first OT win in Patriots history but that may or may not be accurate.

2007- Bills vs Broncos. I was just a kid so didn’t care about the cold but it was about 10 degrees and had a 30 mph wind right in our face in the SE bowl.

2017 (maybe 2016) Titans vs Chiefs Wildcard Game - it was a night game but we got to our spot in the lot around 7 am to start tailgating. At kickoff was 8 degrees, but not much wind from what little I remember. Titans won, Mariota threw himself a TD pass, and I was happy

I went to Favre's last regular season home game as a Packer against the Lions, which was single digits. I just dressed like I was going ice fishing. If I got too cold I would go to the bathroom which was warm. Those metal bench seats in Lambeau really suck in the cold

I’m heading to Minneapolis for the US/Honduras soccer match on Feb 2, and without a doubt that’ll be the coldest game I’ll ever attend.

definitely LSU v Troy in 2008. My dumbass left my jacket and wallet in the car so I couldn't even buy a drink

Guess I never really went to any cold games since the only NFL games I travelled to were in September or in domes. I have been to many basketball games when it was snowing outside...

Went to a UND hockey game in Grand Forks, ND. The game was inside but the outside temp was a wind chill of -28 ish. It was brutal.

Get a Sunday edition MJS to sit on. Helps tremendously.

Troy 2008 was brutal but that might’ve had something to do with the product on the field

Just looked it up. Why the hell would you schedule a soccer match at the outdoor soccer stadium in St. Paul in February? Couldn't they play it at U.S. Bank Stadium with a roof if you absolutely have to play the game in Minnesota in winter? Seems odd.
