It’s inevitable that someone that throws as hard as he does will blow out his elbow. He’s injured and is just gutting through on lower velo because if he took surgery now he’d miss rest of this year and likely all of next

For burrow? Yeah, I blame the bengals front office for him Getting destroyed because his OL can’t block. For his defense being abysmal.
You can blame Pitt for skenes’ lack of run support but him getting shelled is his own issue. You can compare the 2 when burrow starts throwing ints & losing games due to his play

There’s a lockout looming. Why not have surgery now expecting that the time missed next season is gonna be canceled anyways?

It's way better to keep your kids off the mound for as long as possible. Let them play SS, keep their arms live. You can teach kids how to pitch whenever, you can't regain velocity if your arm is going to fall off.

Skenes just doesn't look like himself anymore. First batter of the game tonight 4 straight balls. Fast ball at 97 mph. Just doesn't look dominant anymore

You can't throw as hard as he throws that much and last. He should just have his Tommy John now and get it over with. Then he should become a closer. Or develop his other pitches.
