1986 World Series. I didn't watch baseball for years after that.

Saints losing NFC championship to Chicago.

LSU losing in overtime.

If LSU doesn't win the NC last year, then '07 Arky easily.

'96 Masters Sunday was pretty hard to watch too...

I damn near expected it to happen...even at 3-1...and even with Fausto and CC throwing

at 3-1 I was thinking that this is too good to be true and well it was.

also the 1995 World Series, how the hell did that team lose

The Pujols homer against lidge might actually be the biggest gut kick I've ever sustained. I was at the game and was one out away from witnessing in person my favorite team since I was a kid make the world series for the first time.

Bottom of the 8th inning. 2003 NLCS. Marlins at Cubs. We all know what happened.

Only time I've ever had to leave my house (immediately after the Gonzalez boot) to drive around and blow off steam.

I had a bad feeling about that one too. At my age then, I wasn't as deep in the stats as I am now. I just knew the Braves were always good, and figured that the Tribe was due to blow it. I was old enough to know that much, ha!

I was more upset at 97'. First time I remember crying over a sporting event.

I was 10, my two favorite golfers are/were Norman and Stewart...

Payne was obsolete at the time, and here's Norman set to win the greatest tournament of all...and he performs the choke job of the century against nick frickING Faldo...

Little did we know what would happen in '97 would change golf forever...

Norman was my favorite player at the time, and I just loathed Nick Faldo. Pissed me the frick off.

My dad was watching with me, and i'll forget him saying "Son, I've never been pissed off watching golf, but right now, I am pissed the frick off."

I would have sworn you would have said the '99 NL wild-card tie-breaker.

November 28, 1981, Superdome, Tulane 48 LSU 7, had to leave in the middle of the 3rd quarter because I could not take the pain anymore. About as ugly as LSU football has been in a number of years.

That game was a total arse beating though. Leiter threw his dick right up Cincinnati's arse.

For people who didn't watch that live, I don't think they'll ever understand...

Rick Reilly sums it up as best as you possibly can in words...

It was the one time in my sports viewing life where I actually feared for my life as an opposing fan in an opposing stadium, living as an opposing fan in an opposing city lol.

I once wore a shirt into the Swamp that said nothing but "frick UF" on it. I have no idea what I was thinking.
