I’ve been to both. For me, Wrigley > Fenway. Both were cool as hell and just oozed nostalgia.
I guess I felt like this: Wrigley is a place that still wants to be a ballpark. Fenway is a place that has to be a ballpark.

So you’ve never been to Boston or the north side of Chicago. Got it.

I have been to both.
Wrigley is LIGHT YEARS better than Fenway. Fenway is kind of a dump to me

To answer your question: you can’t go wrong with either.
This depends on the experience you want. Do you need sushi rolls at the ballpark while sitting in an air conditioned area overlooking a pool by the field? Yeah, Fenway or Wrigley may not be for you.
If you want the best modern atmospheres that can someday be a Wrigley or Fenway, go to Pittsburgh or SF. If you want a manufactured good time in a place that’s kind of like mall, go to Houston, Yankee, or Citi Field.
If you want to travel back in time and have a pure experience, it’s the Cubs or Sox. I’d take those two any time.

You definitely trade over all fan experience for the sake of history.

I've been to both, but I'm very, very biased as a Cub fan.
Both have a very unique charm unlike most ball parks or stadiums I've been to, and I've been to many, both are right in the middle of neighborhoods and are very much a fabric of the neighborhoods.
Both stadiums still have the genuine old school vibe - and ooze with history you can almost feel when you walk in.
Fenway has better food in stadium. When I went to Fenway 20 years ago the seats seemed more small and cramped than Wrigley. I prefer the pre-game options in bars and eats outside Wrigley I find they have more an better.
Both have trains that take you right up to the stadium so very convenient for not fighting traffic and finding parking.
Both offer tours that are great and rich in history. You can't go wrong either way.
