It used to be neighborhood bars and stuff but now they’ve basically built their own Ballpark Village or Battery when they already had the original. Some of the changes I liked. For example, replacing that hideous parking lot with Gallegher Way with the playground for the kids, Big screen to watch the game from out there - no brainer good and right move.

And they still have several of the old bars and places that were there long before, like the Cubby Bear, Murphy's, Sluggers and Merckels and a couple of more. There is still enough of the old time feel for me outside and in.

Some of the trendy type - boujee shops and bars I don't even go in so for me it's like they aren't there. I honestly don't have an issue with the Zachary, it's good to have a hotel there, I just can't afford it. I did stay there during Covid when they were starved for customer's and enjoyed it very much.
