Beating an average (at absolute best) boxer doesn't land you a world title shot

I would like to see Tyson knock him out within 40 seconds. Vicious upper cut.
to Paul's chin ; who will be swinging with that over hand right.

That is why i didn't understand Jake Paul's challenge to pay Mike a Bonus if he lasted 4- 5 rounds.... dude ai'nt worried about that!

Tyson couldn't even beat Kevin McBride. That was 20 years ago. Isn't this 'fight' only 8 two minute rounds?

Prepare to be disappointed if you think that will happen. This is a opportunity for Jake Paul to knock or embarrass Tyson and make you hate him more so he can hopefully sell ppv for his next fight.

Man I love Mike as much as anyone but you'll are being straight delusional, Mike ain't beating a 27 year old, bigger, heavier, hard hitting decent boxer. I just hope Mike doesn't get hurt

To be fair, McBride's a big boy. Yes, it's 8, two minute rounds with 14 oz gloves. It's gives Paul an advantage to not stay in rounds longer and risk getting caught. If Tyson can't knock him out in 3 rounds, Paul will win a decision.

Disagree. If anything, it gives Mike an advantage. Mike is going to struggle with stamina and taking punches. Mike not having to stay active for three minute rounds is a big bonus for him. He was an early round boxer in his prime, much less at 58.

God I hope Mike doesn't lose but I got a feeling he will. He's just too old.

Mike has seen things in the ring that JP can’t even fathom

Such as feeling around for his mouthpiece.

Folks aren't as intimidated by him after watching him get whupped -- when he was young.

I'd love to see the Peter McNeely Tyson, but he's much older and less hungry now

I have questions. Who is Jake Paul? I know he seeks attention online but he isn't a boxer by trade, is he? This boxing started as a stunt for attention, correct?

Is this a legitimate fight or staged?

Jake Paul started off on Disney then started doing influencer bullshite in youtube or whatever .

He has the money and resources to train with the best. He seems very dedicated to learning. Supposedly he was a decent wrestler in high school and is athletic. Let’s assume he isn’t paying people off to lose, but he has beat some decent fighters that came from the ufc.

Mike Perry is in his prime and as tough as they come.

Anderson Silva was old and had a losing streak but was one of the best strikers in mma history.

Tyron Woodley wasn’t a great striker but was a very powerful athletic guy

Ben Askren was one of the worst strikers I’ve seen in mma

He also fought a couple of shite boxers and Tommy fury, who is mostly known because of his brother Tyson. He lost to fury but it was a close fight.

He also fought maybe a basketball player. He has knocked out most of them so he has some decent power.

Tyson’s biggest issue is gonna be movement. In his fight against jones jr, his legs looked shot. Jake has good movement and will piece Tyson up.

Say what you want about the guy but to get in the ring with former mma guys that were champions with very little time in the ring definitely takes some balls. Imagine like your 4th fight getting in the ring with Anderson Silva. So imo what the dude has done has been pretty impressive. With that said, a real boxer would make quick work of him just like any of his mma opponents would do the same in the octagon.

Thanks for a great answer. Is Tyson doomed or does he have a punchers chance?

The only time Jake Paul has ever fought a "legit" boxer is Tommy Fury and he got beat. Everyone else has been washed up or a fixed outcome or special arrangements (in this case, 14 oz gloves)

Professional Boxing is 10-12 Rounds w/ 3-Minute Rounds & 8-10 Oz gloves.

He has yet to fight a competitve fighter under the real parameters of professional boxing. Why would that be? He would get eaten alive.

Mke Tyson has a chance in the sense that this fight isn't real. It's an exhibition.
