Carlton Fisk Walkoff homer in the 1975 WS game 6.

My Cubbies winning it all in 2016, not sure outside of LSU winning the 2003 National title I'll ever experience a better or more emotional sports moment.

2017 Astros vs Dodgers (Game 5). Astros came back from 3 different deficits (4-0, 7-4 and 8-7) to finally win 13-12 in extra innings. Win gave them a 3-2 series lead.

My first WS memory is Reggie hitting 3 HR in 3 AB in 1977.
After that the 1986 WS between Boston and Mets was very fun to watch.

Kirk Gibson.
All the Braves WS in the 90s.
Joe Carter off Wild Thing.
DBacks in Game 7 against the Djankees.
Bonds terrible outfield play to lose it to the Angels in 2002 (Rally Monkey!)
Braves in 2021.

Been a lot of great WS baseball over the years.

I think the Blue Jays should try to get Mitch Williams to throw out the first pitch at one of their home WS games this year.

1977 series Dodgers vs Yankees. Best man in my wedding played for the Yankees, got a World Series ring that year. Billy Martin signature on the sweet spot.

What is sad is that Smoltz did the same thing to Minnesota. Just unfortunate that Pena got brought in and blew it.

I want to say 98 or 99. Yankees were behind for most of the game and then manufactured like 4 runs very methodically.

Also Kirk Gibson's blast in Game 1 in the Ninth against the A's. Aftet that, you just knew that the A's were going to be in trouble.

In the 98 series in Game 3 the Padres were up 3-0 in the sixth when NY started doing NY things. Yankees won 5-4. Bochy put in Trevor Hoffman who gave up a 3-run DONG to Scott Brosius.

Atlanta was up 5-1 in Game 3 in 99 and Yankees started rallying and chipping away in the 5th inning. They won 6-5 on Chad Curtis’ DONG in the 10th. Another role player coming in strong. Curtis later served 7 years in prison for sexual assault on three underage students while teaching.

It was 2011 and I had long since given up on baseball mainly due to a boring product. Came home, flipped on the TV and started watching the hometown Cardinals in the World Series. It was already the 7th inning, but I proceeded to witness the best baseball game I've ever seen.

My brother, that was a rough stretch for me… Rangers blew that series; LSU blew the natty against Bama; Saints blew (their best team IMO) a real shot at a super bowl, losing to the 49ers. ROUGH patch, but yes that World Series had it all. Unbelievable really.

*Had just gotten stationed in SoCal at MCAS Tustin, CA. One of my flight school buddies was living with us until he got a house and was from the Bay area and a huge As fan. To say the least, he was stunned.
