I'll watch Nebraska/NW. The rest look terrible.

Wyoming v Illinois should be fine. I'm interested to see what Illinois will be this year after getting a little better every year the last couple of years

Same. It could actually be a sneakily entertaining game.

Nebraska vs Northwestern is being played in Dublin, so the novelty alone will be worth tuning in for.

I read someone propose all the bowl games should be played in Week 0 of the next season, and I’ve wanted that so much more than the current offering of poo we get to watch

It's the perfect week for some random middle-tier Power 5 versus another middle-tier Power 5 that rarely happens. Like, Nebraska versus Virginia Tech, or Mississippi State versus Syracuse, etc.

Nebraska was the best 3-9 team of all time though

Week 0 is terrible this year. A few years ago, we got Florida and Miami. That was nice.

As bad as week 0 is, I don't understand why college football doesn't do a bigger game for week 1 Thursday night. The premier games that evening are West Virginia at Pitt and Ped State at Purdue. Not terrible games, but a top 25 matchup would do a massive number in that time slot.

Couldnt they have given us at least ONE good matchup?

I thought these were almost always bc of the "Hawaii rule". Why does UNC get to play a week early? They get 2 bye weeks during the season bc of this scheduling, which seems like a huge advantage against 2 of their biggest opponents.

Nebraska Northwestern may not be amazing football but it's still interesting since Nebraska absolutely has to win or Frost's seat is going to be scorching

Also want to see how Bert does

Tell us you're really not a college football fan without telling us you're really not a college football fan.

Those are all important games to the fans of those schools. Every college football game doesn’t need to appeal to the entire world. We already have the NFL.

I get the Notre Dame Irish playing in Dublin, but any two other teams seems pretty random

So the seniors who stick it out for all 4 years are rewarded with.... nothing.

Yeah, that'll be great for the sport.
