The U.S. women’s soccer team protested against the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) Wednesday night by turning their jerseys inside out.

This covered the logo of the USSF on the chest of the players. The players filed a gender discrimination lawsuit last year against the USSF, the trial scheduled for May 5th. This week, the USSF submitted legal papers stating that women are less skilled and have easier roles than their male counterparts. “I think it just was a powerful message,” said Carli Lloyd to the AP, “I’m really proud of this group because this is not an easy thing. Like I said, we don’t want to be in this position, but we’re here and it’s just got to be better.”

Once they played on the same field as Messi then they do equal work

I legit laughed when I saw the headline saying something about the men playing in more hostile environments. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I applaud the efforts.
Women should earn the same piece of the pie as men. Unfortunately, their pie is much smaller.

Why are they playing for the country then if you hate it. Other countries would not put up with that.

1. That doesn't look like a woman to me.
2. Fire them, cut them all. Playing US soccer is a privilege, not a right. If they don't like it, they don't have to play.

Good grief. Is soccer the only sport left standing?

As far as I'm concerned we don't have a Women's national team. They're nothing but afterbirth to me.

Remember, a team of 15 year old boys, whipped these broads in soccer.
And when these broads start bending rebar, hot carry bricks, etc then i'll get back to them about a pay raise.

Such heroes. They should go play for the Saudi women’s national team. Oh wait...
Posted on 3/12/20 at 5:56 pm to deathvalleyfreak43
Why can’t their games get cancelled?

It’s an interesting situations
On one side, the women win more and I believe they generate more revenue.
On the other, they agreed to this deal and while the mean aren’t as competitive internationally, they are risking injury derailing much more lucrative pro contracts playing for the national team.

Terrible click bait headline.
They all had their hand over their heart except for Rapinoe.
All they did was have their warm-up jerseys on inside out.
The protest had nothing to do with the country or politics, rather protesting the USSF after they released a tone-deaf press release that basically say women are losers.

You're not educated on their protests.

Don't let facts get in the way of some good old fashioned TD outrage!
