"I don't know if Chambers Bay will get another U.S. Open, but they could have a pretty sweet X Games there."

For those saying Spieth was talking about himself playing "the dumbest hole I've ever played", see his post-round comments. He was indeed talking about the hole itself, not the way he played it

Whole course is pretty dumb. I said earlier this week it should be a motocross track. If they want it to be a US Open course, use real grass on the damn greens

I like it. It is tough, as a U.S. open course should be. Just a different kind of tough. They'll set it up to really show some teeth today.

Stenson said the greens are like putting on broccoli. But maybe that's good for him, if he could putt a lick on normal tour greens he would be #1 by a mile

I agree, they just need to stretch it out and make it harder.....

The Black Knight, the originator of nitro and deadlifts, just said the course and others like it are "ruining the game of golf"

Of course he was. He said "this should not be a par 4" during his tantrum.

"This is the worst golf course I might have ever seen in my 63 years as a professional golfer." - Gary Player

ETA: He says if you were a 10 handicap, you couldn't break 100 here if you played the best round of your life

"You know how many divorces a golf course like this could possibly cause? A man comes out here and plays, takes 6 hours by the time he gets home, his wife hasn't seen him all week, she's got the needle. I feel sorry for him."

I'm quoting an interview that just came on tv. He verbatim said this course and others like it will ruin golf. That is pretty legit. I mean when guys like Player are saying that it is hard for me to respect this course

Some one please help me out. Is the poa on the green intentional at chambers? I know it's grown on some greens but it's a weed in these parts. I see it at latour from time to time and it's annoying playing in the afternoon when it gets tall.

I think people have said it's not fully intentional -- it's part of west coast greens, but is taking over the fescue.

Spieth is going to single handedly eliminate nitro/torque with nerd golf.
