University of Acadiana denotes a regional university. We outgrew being a regional university a long time ago. That's the whole rub.

Ok, so why is that wrong?
i dont know too much about it but i would imagine North Carolina at Chapel Hill and UT Austin are the flagship schools in those systems. Seems like a pretty big difference. UNC and UT are equivalent to LSU in the LSU system whereas their satellite schools would be equivalent to LSU-E, LSU-A, etc.
Is there a flagship school in the UL system? I honestly don't know but i didn't think ULL was considered a flagship over ULM.
