Here is your problem. I came here with facts and numbers. You came here with a North Carolina team and a corn cob up your arse. Not once in my post did I say I was for or agianst the ULL/UL name. I simply made an observation. I didn't try to compare to the most well known colleges in the nation, I simply tried to give examples of my point.
I think the BR "elitist" want no other school in Louisiana threatening their status in any way. Not saying it would happen at all, or that it is a goal of any other Louisiana University. Maybe both ULL and ULM just want to improve their schools and there is a rivalry between the two?

Can we just sticky one of the name threads at the top so that whenever the people who "don't care" about UL/UL-Lafayette/USL/SLI have the urge to restart this circus, they can just update an existing thread?

Because a majority of LSU fans are very secure and rational.
