I don’t think they are pushing him. It probably wasn’t the easiest to put together the card. He probably stepped up.

Does anyone know what fight fell through last night.

I'm assuming Jones?

I think Dana said at one point that he would never entertain Jones on this big of a card because he was unreliable. Had to be someone else.

Overhyped under delivered as always. So much for the “biggest card of all time”

They don’t have a huge star right now. They basically have 4 of their biggest current stars on the card.

Everybody thinks Gaethje vs. Topuria is a foregone conclusion.

Pereira vs. Gane is interesting, but it's weird since Gane seemed to be up a bit in his fight vs. Aspinall. You'd think Aspinall would want to come back and shut that narrative down, and get his revenge for the eye pokes, but now he might have to fight Pereira next instead.

Bummer. Dana paid lip service to the idea (that Aspinall would fight the winner) with Rogan, but yeah. Sounds like he wants to do boxing.

It’s their own fault. They’ve went too all in on all these small weight classes and with the few exceptions they are boring fighters. Gone are the chucks, Tito’s, Coutures, Anderson Silvas, hell losing Israel has been a big loss too. Except Conor, Your biggest stars of UFC history have all been 185+. And those divisions are dead lately
