You think they were elite boxers? De Ridder literally had nothing behind his punches and both guys were heaving after one round. It was laughable. They would get their asses handed to them by a top boxer.

I don't think this:

They displayed little to know MMA skills, were completely gassed by the 2nd round and just got by by both being crappy boxers. One just slightly less crappy than the other.

I mean it’s true. And neither will never hold a belt or most likely even compete for one.

No ground game on display. Hell there was minimal kicking. As already stated, the boxing was laughably bad. De Ridder lacked so much punching power his opponent didn’t bother covering his face one time the entire match. And they were gassed early on. Yes, very little mma was displayed in that fight.

I mean, both were one win away from fighting for a belt just last fall.

Caio stuffed RDR's takedowns all night and boxed the shite out of him. RDR looked bad because Caio made him look bad, putting a whooping on him. It wasn't for lack of trying. Both were heavily damaged by the end of round two, so of course they got a bit fatigued.
Watch the highlights of the fight. Literally every argument you made was disproven in just round one alone, except for maybe RDR's boxing, which is mainly because dude just has a weird stand-up style.

What would they do to a top boxer in a bjj match? What a dumb statement
