No way this guy will ever be able to return to Birmingham or UAB IMO. He is really lucky this didn't turn worse as it was getting very close to getting violent.

Those 1% of my University's "fans" need to be expelled! Period.

That pisses me off to no extent. Dumb arse kids.

if they had supported the team like that there wouldn't be today's press conference...

yeah, I laughed a little too.

I was waiting for something to get heaved at him or the vehicle.

that's what I thought OP meant when I read where the protest almost turned violent.

Edit: nevermind, I saw a water bottle or something thrown. And a few kids kinda just slapping the car window.

It's tough when something like that happens. Could you imagine something like this happening in Tuscaloosa? It would make the '92 LA Riots look like a tea party.

Good thing there's only like 30 people who give a shite about UAB football.

Wow. I hope the University of Alabama is satisfied. Not only did they destroy a program and school, but now they have divided a community.

But, so long as they keep getting trophies, I guess everything is okay...

Good on those police officers for maintaining composure and not having to resort to tear gas to subdue the protestors.
