@AdamSchefter

The Chargers’ team doctor accidentally punctured his own quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s lung just before kickoff Sunday while trying to administer a pain-killing injection to the quarterback’s cracked ribs, league and team sources told ESPN.

Giving Herbert his first start.

That's going to hurt his/her malpractice insurance rates.

The Saints medical staff circa 2015 would have accidentally removed his lung.

I couldn't imagine being a QB in the NFL and trying to play through cracked ribs. That sounds miserable.

Did them a favor IMO. They should be suing Anthony Lynn for malpractice if he keeps starting Tyrod

That they are terrible.

Look at the chargers injury history the last 5-10 years.
