I remember when bone rattling hits used to be applauded! Men would play through injuries every single week. Put their bodies on the line for the gladatorial sport! Its a shame we are now to this level of babying

There is a difference between good, clean hard hits and dirty hits. This one was clearly the latter. You don't headhunt someone who has slid and given himself up.

Well clearly they need to make the rule clear. This guy wasnt aware. He just wanted to lay some wood on a qb and saw one right in his sights!

We have become a nation of pussies. Hits like this used to be SportsCenter highlights. Now we’re calling for a player to be suspended for the whole season without pay. Football is a contact sport and Trevor Lawrence makes tens of millions of dollars to play. You’re not down until you’re touched. He got touched a little too hard but that’s football.

Not on a slide, if the qb slides he can’t just get back up and keep going. He has given himself up.
