It's not McVay's fault, obviously, but I also don't think we shoul be heaping praises on him either.

That was so bad. Brief momentary lapse of judgment.

There's something interesting about a coach getting to the biggest stage when the reason he got to the biggest stage is because of total officiating incompetence? It's not McVay's fault, obviously, but I also don't think we shoul be heaping praises on him either.

If they would’ve lost the game off that play, it still would’ve been an impressive feat for a 32 year old coach to go into the Superdome for the NFC championship game and have a shot to win the game at the end.

Rams are a very good team. I have nothing against them.

How pissed is half this board going to be when the Rams win “Best Team” at the ESPYs?

I know that’s what people like you live for but if it’s for the 2018 season the Red Sox or Clemson should win well over any NFL team this year

Starting your list with the kneeling out of all the issues is hilarious.

Really? You think all of the Kaepernick bullshite and it's fallout over the last few seasons has been a net positive or net negative for ticket sales and viewership of the NFL over the last few seasons?

Or, to be fair, irrelevant, which I'm assuming is why you would make that case?

Well tickets are going on average for $5100 a ticket, so the NFL got what they wanted. They knew the two big markets would drive up ticket prices. So dumb.

KosmoCramer told us in another thread no one else outside of Louisiana cares about the Saints/Rams game ending.

I am not a Saints fan, but I still feel like the Super Bowl is tainted now. My enthusiasm for the Super Bowl is just about gone, and I imagine that is the case with many of the fans.

Stop reading the people moaning on the Internet, and this wouldn't be the case.

I agree with you, but more because of this being a "final straw" for alot of people.

-All the kneeling bullshite and the ignorance and entitlement of the players being thrown in the face constantly and alienating the actual fans

Ratings were up all year. You really believe the 'final straw' is coming on super bowl sunday?

Because it is. The Rams win is fraudulent. Everyone knows it

But they won’t lose viewers. That’s dumb

you actually think people will look back on this rams win as fraudulent? The Patriots literally filmed their opponents practicing, and god knows what else they were/have been doing that we havent found out about yet, and all we do is suck off their dynasty

I am a Giants fan, not a Saints fan. Just don't like a team who doesn't deserve to go to the Super Bowl get to go because two officials standing right there staring at the play don't know how to do their jobs.

Do not worry, bro. You picked a great marquee team to pull for. The Mara family and the New York Football Giants will NEVER be cheated out of an SB berth by something like what happened to the Saints. That would NEVER happen to the NY Giants. Rest assured.

This is why I hope the saints hang an NFC CHAMP banner. This event is unprecedented and 40 years from now people need to remember this.
