Don't mean a thing if you don't win the ring

As much as it hurts me to say it, 2011 LSU not winning definitely makes them less great. The arse kicking Bama Gabe us makes the earlier match look like a fluke.

Probably not even in the top 20. If Jordan Jefferson is your QB you can not be the best team ever.

Having a QB that can't crack 100 yards passing in your 2 biggest games of the year doesn't scream best of all time to me.

Maybe if they lost 21-20 instead of 21-0 there'd be an argument.

LSU was being called the greatest team of all time by everyone in the media before the title game.

You must have a limited memory of that year.

The media does that all the time in college football. 02 Miami. 03 Oklahoma. 05 USC. 08 Oklahoma. All "greatest teams ever " that didn't even win a title.

The 2007 New England Patriots are the best team in the history of organized sports not to win the championship inarguably

Only for the NBA. The playoff format for every other sport is so volatile that the best teams often do not win the championship.
