This is the part I'll never get over. If not for the tragic plain crash that afflicted their athletic department, Oklahoma State would've taken care of business that night. It is also worth mentioning that their bus broke down and they got to the stadium 30 minutes before kickoff. Plus Oklahoma State most likely wins in regulation if the refs get the FG call right, and it tooked a tipped Weeden interception for Iowa State to win in 2OT. As a Bama fan, I agree, it would. But they didn't pass the 50 until 85-90% of the game had been played.
