MHJ and his family don't need the money.
They have been working to help players (see the combine) by pushing back on norms that the players association hasn't really made a push for especially for younger players.
Glad people are recognizing what they're doing.

Do players get screwed by jersey sales? A quick google search says they get approximately 67% of the revenue generated from jersey sales. That doesn't sound that crazy imo.

I think part of the reason with not signing the jersey sales agreement is because MHJ is in active litigation with Fanatics about a previous contract.

There are legal reasons why they can’t sell them from his college playing days. But essentially it’s Fanatics fault so frick them.

Yep, and it seems like they are increasingly selling stuff that is “Fanatics” brand and selling less stuff that is made by other brands.
Unfortunately, it seems they have a merchandise deal with every major sports league.
