It's not much different from today though. The NCAA has clearly defined rules and are attempting to enforce them.

Why would a two conference league be any different?

The SEC and B10 will take few B12 and ACC shools with them

That is what everybody is playing for in the next 5 years or less

And the rest of us will go back to normal college football with scholarships and stipends

Right

Why would schools care about rules or regulations when they can find a hometown judge to skirt whatever they want? Because the super conference would be “serious” this time?

I love this quote right here. He’s essentially saying, “shite sucks but watch this,” as he aims his gun at a large propane tank.

The NCAA’s rules on this are pretty clear. The problem is that it’s a voluntary association that depends on its membership to enforce its ruling.

So the issue isn’t so much Sorsby here. It’s Texas Tech for allowing him to play. I think the NCAA could still go after Texas Tech.

In the Chambliss ruling the judge said the NCAA couldn’t go after Ole Miss until after he has his day in court. This judge only said the NCAA couldn't prevent the player from playing. Texas Tech could.

Are they saying that even if Sorsby killed an opposing player on the field, the NCAA has no authority to suspend him?

That depends. Is he addicted to murdering people?
