Tennessee sucks. Everyone bitching about SMU and Indiana’s schedule, Tennessee’s was almost as bad.

Outside of a close win against a three loss bama team at home, these are there sec wins: Vandy, Florida in OT when Florida sucked, Kentucky, Mississippi state, Oklahoma.

Almost all of those games close. Also lost to a terrible Arkansas team.

There is nothing in this first round that's worth anybody's time to see. If only the BCS had been four teams instead of two.

There's been maybe 2 seasons in the last 20 years where there were even 3 teams that you could argue had a claim/shot at playing for the NC.

This was never about determining the best team, nor putting the best 12 teams in. It was greed and a bunch of old men who saw dollars that weren't theirs yet.

Miami

It's always been about the money for the major networks but ND VS Miami would have done a lot better on a Friday night compared to ND VS Indiana. I understand this is the first year of the 12 team playoff, but it's already broken. It will continue to be broken as long as the committee looks like its current form and continues to show zero emotion every time ESPN puts them on TV, while watching all the games on computer monitors.

I think South Carolina beats Tennessee on either the road or at home

Damn, we're retroactively placing 3 3-loss Sec teams ahead of the team that finished with 2-losses? That is quite the logic.

If you downvote you don’t know football. These games suck and committee sucks.

Let’s just kill the regular season and turn the whole thing into a playoff.

I won’t watch that either, but you might as well at this point.

At no point ever was a team ranked six or below was considered a peer to the top 2, but let’s go to 12 and talk about going to 16 even before the first season of 12 occurs.

No matter the talking points and what should be, this weekend has been bad for college football

Those 4 teams would have been beaten too. Maybe not all blowouts but all would have lost.

The correct teams made a retarded 12 team playoff.

None of these clowns would make a legit playoff with 4 teams like we should have.

What playoff only has 4 teams? I can't think of any credible leagues that do that

I think the seeding is more at fault than the 12 teams that made it. Texas/OSU/Penn State should have been the 3 and 4 seeds. That would have had Boise and Arizona State playing today which I think would have led to some more competitive games.

I say that meaning that the way they seed it should change and not necessarily shrinking it from 12. Conference winners should get in, but not be guaranteed top seeds.

Bama likely wins that game 7 of 10 times. They are the better team, Mildew just played poorly that day.

It ain’t a series mf.
