I’m fully aware that a lot of people have quit watching this league in the last 5 years or so because of the heavy involvement of wokeness, BLM, and liberal political crap.

This isn't really the part that bothers me as much. I absolutely loathe the load management shite from a fan standpoint. So often people buy tickets well in advance to see their favorite teams or players only for these guys to rest for no reason at all besides they need rest. I get that it can be grueling season on these players, but as a fan, that's extremely frustrating and a major turn off.

I try watching a few games a year around holidays and it's a terrible product. They tried to manufacture some intrigue around Bronny and Lebron and it didn't take. If the players don't care about the regular season why should I?

But you’d laugh if it was Lebron Lakers fans and he decided to sit out in NOLA

As with all pro sports, they keep chasing the revenue with more games that nobody is asking for.

More games = more injury/fatigue = more players sitting out.

The NBA is basically a 3 pt shooting contest with the world’s best athletes.

Some people are just miserable idiots that don't understand sports.

Yea, it’s unwatchable. It’s like watching pickup games, there’s no strategy and very little competition going on. Boring, simple and not exciting at all.

Aside from that, though, has there ever been a professional sports league with a less interesting regular season, where outrageously overpaid stars routinely skip games for mysterious reasons?

Aaron Rogers skipped mini camp so he could frick off in Egypt and then complains his WRs aren't on the same page as him.

Growing up in the 80s and going into the 90s, it was fabulous to watch. It’s basically just street ball now. I’ve tried to watch and just can’t do it.

Even then, the general public only gave a shite about watching 3-4 teams.

That's always been sort of the inherent problem with the NBA.

Not really sure what you are getting at here. In general, it's bad for the NBA when people sit for load management on a regular basis.

Hey man no need to tell us you have no idea how nba basketball is played.

There's more elite ball handling, passing, off ball screen actions than ever before. Even the defenses are better yet here we are with you dumbing up the conversation just like sportsguynofrickingcluela

Lmfao. Just look at offensive efficiency ratings from this decade vs previous ones. You have no clue what you're talking about. Par for the course I guess.

Its objectively true. That does it make it "better" to watch as that is subjective.

But the game is played at a much more efficient, higher quality than it has ever been played.

First off that’s incorrect and secondly it’s easy to look better on offense when there’s no defense.

We’ve debunked the numbers several times here and I’ve coached basketball longer than you’ve lived.

Defense is substantially more complicated than it has ever been. They throw way more looks now than they did many years ago.

There are a lot of critiques to make about the nba, but reducing it to street ball is not one of them.
