Agree. Season is too long. Playoffs are too long. 3 point shot has seen its better days. Players basically control the league. Just a boring game but there is so much money behind it, Im afraid it’s only getting worse.

First couple of rounds aren’t too bad. But once it gets to 7 game series I shut it down.

I’m fully aware that a lot of people have quit watching this league in the last 5 years or so because of the heavy involvement of wokeness, BLM, and liberal political crap.

I'm fully aware that you're a fricking idiot that brings nothing of substance when it comes to sports talk.

NBA regular-season viewership remained steady once again among national media partners, with games averaging 1.6 million viewers across TNT, ABC and ESPN. The league has hit that mark for three consecutive seasons.

During the 2020-21 campaign, when the regular season began just before Christmas and ended in mid-May, the average was 1.4 million. For the COVID-shortened 2019-20 season, the league averaged 1.6 million as well. For the season prior to the pandemic (2018-19), the NBA averaged 1.8 million.

Yeah, if you watch the Larry Bird mixtape you can see what real basketball used to look like.

Most fans of the Association are more interested in the soap opera aspects of the league than the game itself - who's dissing whom, which instawhore got knocked up by which player, who's dissatisfied with their current contract, etc.

NBA is the best sport to watch live. They keep the crowd entertained the entire time. Even during timeouts there is always something going on to keep the crowd entertained.

I looked at scores this morning and immediately wondered if anyone was playing any defense. We’ll be at All-Star Game scoring levels if this keeps up.

Aside from that, though, has there ever been a professional sports league with a less interesting regular season, where outrageously overpaid stars routinely skip games for mysterious reasons?

As a Sixers fan, this pisses me off. Embiid decides that he's no longer playing back to backs shows why we will never win another ring. We are going to completely waste the talents of Maxey because a center can't be bothered to play games and wants to rest up for a postseason run that'll likely end in the first round or second round.

I've given up watching professional sports entirely.

Baseball team is blacked out
Hockey team is blacked out
Don't really care to watch the NFL.
Basketball just sucks during regular season

Its almost like they don't want me to watch.
Why in the frick would you alienate half your fricking fanbase that lives 4+ hours away via blackouts??
