I would argue regular stars are overpaid and superstars are underpaid.

Well now I know you're full of shite. I'm here for damn near every "the NBA is such a bad product" thread that the latest idiot likes to start and the numbers have never been "debunked"

And I've coached basketball as well. I've seen plenty of idiot coaches in my day. I guess you're another one.

If you want to watch a meaningful, high stakes regular season competition, I highly advise that you tune into English premier league football.

Don’t listen to the ignorant haters on this board, football is a much more masculine sport than baseball for example where they wear pajamas and big pillows on their precious hands to prevent the mean ball from hurting them

The NBA does a horrible job of promoting their product.

The regular season is too long and the playoffs are too long as well. They’ve made it even worse by having an in-season tournament.

Madking showing his arse in an NBA thread once again. We're not even surprised at this point.

Says the guy who speaks in talking points and things he’s seen from media people. The insecurity and projection is so obvious and typical.

You wish. I'm a regular nba watcher and have been since Jordan. Watch a local Pels broadcast. Antonio Daniels does a fantastic job of breaking down plays that show the level of skill that didn't exist 20 years ago.

You cant help but show your ignorance and how full of it you are. “I watch the NBA and the announcers told me it’s good” lmfao

Even then, the general public only gave a shite about watching 3-4 teams.

And were primarily focused on the playoffs, where the intensity has always increased dramatically.

You are correct. Max salaries caused stars to get way below-market deals, and the CBA demanding the players get the same % means that money flows downwards.

Here is the "debunking"

"they don't play defense" (no evidence cited)

Why is FT% so high if skills aren't improvong?

Play breakdowns are far more nuanced than that, you're showing your ignorance and how obtuse you are to the modern game. Bums me out that alleged fans of basketball can't appreciate today's game. It's just willful ignorance at this point.

More projection and btw acting as if you’ve discovered fire because an announcer broke down a play is just more evidence of your cluelessness. You don’t know what you’re talking about so all you can do is speak in vague terms and make hyperbolic attacks.

Another moron… tell us again about the alternate history of basketball. You know the one you made up.
